Harrow Borough have suffered a blow after striker Dewayne Clarke joined Boreham Wood yesterday.
The mercurial forward received a seven day approach from their Ryman Premier rivals, which was their third offer for him in the last year, and after an inital lack of interest has decided to leave Earlsmead.
Clarke's departure is understood to be a financial move after Wood offered the forward about four times as much money as he earns at Boro.
