Wealdstone failed to capitalise on a superb start against Kingstonian in their 2-2 draw on Saturday.
The Stones made a dream start to the match at the St George's Stadium taking a 2-0 lead inside five minutes but a fightback from promotion contenders Kingstonian meant they had to settle for a point.
Wealdstone opened the scoring after just three minutes when Danny Spendlove squeezed an effort into the net. Within two minutes the hosts had doubled their lead as Chris O'Leary headed Ryan Ashe's free-kick into the net.
But the visitors pulled one back almost immediately to bring themselves into the contest.
The Stones handed a debut to Wycombe's Northern Ireland Under-19 striker Matt McClure and the youngster almost got off the mark with a volley.
Wealdstone looked as if they had done enough for the three points but they were punished at the death when Carl Wilson-Denis pounced for his second of the game.
The Stones return to action tomorrow night when they host improving side Billericay Town.
