Harrow Borough manager David Howell has set his side a target of two wins from their next four away matches.

Boro travel to Aveley tomorrow in the Ryman Premier in their first of four successive matches on the road. Having only picked up 12 points from 12 away games, Howell has challenged his side to pick up a couple of victories over the next fortnight.

Howell said: "Our next four matches will present different tests and problems for us. If we can get a couple of wins then that would be good.

"Aveley are the form side with three wins in a row but the lads are fresh after having the week off."

Boro extended their undefeated run to four games after a 1-1 draw against Tooting and Mitcham United at Earlsmead on Saturday. But Howell was frustrated after his side conceded the equaliser immediately after Kurt Morlese's second-half goal.

Howell said: "We dominated the whole match. It was just a lapse in concentration and it was a body blow for us. The opposition nicked a point. It was daylight robbery.

"But it was another match unbeaten and we are still confident after dominating against a strong in-form team."

Boro's trip to Sutton United on Tuesday night was another victim of the weather but Howell was only too happy to reschedule the match. His team would have been heavily depleted with several injuries and a list of players including Dewayne Clarke, Dean Fenton and Keita Karamoko unavailable due to work commitments.

Howell said: "I was pretty relieved because we were in a vulnerable state. I did a rain dance on Monday because we would have been down to the bare bones."
