Watford are reportedly looking to sign West Bromwich Albion’s Jake Livermore on loan with a view to making a permanent move further down the line.
The Hornets are said to have made an approach for the England international ahead of today’s 5pm deadline.
Livermore impressed in 2017/18 despite the Baggies getting relegated from the Premier League last season.
While Watford have a host of options in midfield, they are believed to be eager to bring in Livermore as cover while Tom Cleverley continues his recovery from an ankle operation.
Livermore, who joined West Brom from Hull City for £10 million in June 2017, has played in both of the Baggies games so far this season, and featured 41 times last term.
