Graham Scott will take charge of Watford’s visit to London Stadium to take on West Ham on Saturday, in an appointment Hornets fans will hope isn’t a bad omen.
Scott last refereed Watford when they collapsed from 2-0 down to lose 3-2 at Goodsion Park in early November.
That encounter was the second time Scott has been the man in the middle for a Golden Boys game this term and he was also in charge of the 0-0 draw against Brighton in August.
The Seagulls’ visit was notable for little more than Migeul Britos’ shocking knee-high foul on Anthony Knockaert, which earned the defender a straight red card.
Scott has not been shy in dismissing players this season, brandishing red cards on four occasions in 21 games this season as well as 54 yellow cards.
