The number of young Watford players leaving on loan this month to gain experience elsewhere has continued to grow following the departure of Nathan Gartside.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper has moved to Chelmsford City for the remainder of the campaign, becoming the eighth Under-23 player to depart since the start of the month.

The Northern Irishman, who joined the Hornets Academy in 2014, joins Harvey Bradbury, Michael Folivi, Alex Jakubiak, Brandon Mason, Charlie Rowan, Connor Stevens and Randell Williams in making temporary moves during the current transfer window.
