Watford have no interest in any approaches for Marco Silva after an enquiry from Everton was rejected.

The Independent and the BBC are among those reporting this evening the Hornets turned down a request from Everton to talk to the Hornets head coach about replacing Ronald Koeman as Goodison Park boss.

It has been claimed that Silva would be interested in talking to the Toffees if a deal can be agreed between the two clubs, but we have been told Watford have no willingness to entertain any approaches from elsewhere for their highly-rated head coach.

Although Watford have lost their last three games, Silva’s stock has continued to rise following a good start to the season and it has been reported he is top of Everton’s wish list, with Sean Dyche and Sam Allardyce also widely linked with the post.
