Watford have taken up the option of signing former Crystal Palace winger Randall Williams after the youngster impressed on trial.

Williams spent 18 months with the Eagles before he was released in the summer, and played in Watford Under-23s' 1-1 draw at Woking on July 8.

He started his career with Tower Hamlets before being plucked from the tenth tier by Palace, first signing a six-month deal in January 2016, before earning another year-long contract that summer.

Williams was once in the Tottenham Hotspur academy and has previously described himself as a "quick dribbler" who "likes to run at players".
