Craig Cathcart has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal at Vicarage Road.
The talented defender has put last season's injury troubles behind him to pledge his future to Watford until 2021, the club announced this morning.
Cathcart first signed for Watford in 2014, but spent time on loan in Hertfordshire from Manchester United back in 2009.
A string of injuries limited the Northern Ireland international to only 13 Premier League starts over the last campaign - having made 34 in 2015/16.
The 28-year-old has made 86 appearances for Watford in all competitions.
