There has been no move for PSV full-back Joshua Brenet from Watford, the player's representatives have confirmed.
The 23-year-old, who was a bit-part player for the Eindhoven side, making only 13 starts in the Eredivisie, has reportedly been attracting the interests of both Celtic and the Hornets.
The player's representatives confirmed to the Watford Observer no deal had been struck, or was in discussion, over a move to Vicarage Road.
But the spokesperson for Muy Manero, the player's agents, refused to rule out the prospect of a move before the end of the transfer window.
Brenet has two caps for the Netherlands, won at the start of the campaign when he was more frequently involved - and on the back of a 2015/16 season where he was a first-team regular.
