Watford have renewed their interest in Juventus and Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina, according to national reports.

Lemina signed for the Italian giants from Marseille back in 2015 and is contracted with Juventus until 2020.

Watford are said to have competition in signing the 23-year-old, with Arsenal also reported to have Lemina on their radar in this summer’s transfer window.

However, it is not only English clubs who want his signature; both Lyon and Valencia are also linked to buying him.

Lemina has admitted to French news outlet Foot Mercato that he is flattered to be linked with a move to England, however does not have a preference to where he moves in the next few months.

He said: "I am flattered by the interest of Arsenal and Watford. I am playing for a big club now but I am happy about the interest of other clubs.

"I do not have a preference for any league. My future depends on who really wants me."

The 23-year-old did then stated that he is ruling out a move to Ligue 1 side Lyon due to playing for Marseille before.

He said: “I don’t think I’ll be moving to Lyon. I am from Marseille and I am not interested in joining them. I don’t think I have a chance to return to Marseille.”
