Watford's number-one target for head coach, Marco Silva, is reportedly in Portugal today holding talks over becoming the new manager at Porto.

Silva has emerged on the radar of a number of sides both in England and abroad since it became clear he would leave Hull City following their Premier League relegation.

The Portuguese manager only signed a deal at the KCOM Stadium until the end of the season, and national media reports have linked him with Southampton, as well as the top job at Porto in his home country.

Watford had identified him as their first choice to replace Walter Mazzarri but may now lose out on the in-demand 39-year-old.
