Watford's Under-18s have today flown to Japan to take part in this year's Sanix Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament, as one of four overseas teams in the cup.
The tournament has been organised by the Kyushu Football Association, Sanix Sports Foundation and Japan Football Association.
David Horseman's young Hornets will play three group games against youth sides from FC Tokyo, who play in the Japanese top flight, as well as Maebashi Ikuei and Tokai Fukuoka.
Those games will be played on Thursday and Friday, and, should Watford emerge from their group, they will progress to knock-out stages - which will be held on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
