Watford’s trip to Stamford Bridge next month is set to be rescheduled as a result of Chelsea reaching the FA Cup sixth round.
The Hornets’ visit to the Premier League leaders has already been moved once to Monday, March 13 after being selected for live TV broadcast, but a new date is now set to be found as the cup quarter-finals are scheduled to be played on the weekend of Saturday, March 11.
If a probable rearranged date cannot be found for next month, it will mean Watford will have just two league games in March – at home to Southampton and away to Crystal Palace.
Antonio Conte’s side booked their place in the last eight as second-half goals from Pedro and Diego Costa secured a 2-0 victory at Wolves yesterday.
