West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis thinks his club will be priced out of signing Watford striker Odion Ighalo.

Pulis is a keen admirer of Ighalo having tried to buy him last summer and the Baggies renewed their interest in the Nigerian international during this month's transfer window.

West Brom sold Saido Berahino to Stoke City for £12m last week and the club are hoping to replace him.

But Pulis believes Watford want too much money for Ighalo, who has scored just twice this season, which could prevent a deal taking place.

Pulis told the Express and Star: "I think Watford want too much so I don't think we'll be in that one."

Ighalo turned down a move to China last summer but the Hornets could be tempted to cash in on him after a barren run of form which has seen him lose his place in the side.
