Harrow were narrowly beaten 1-0 at Bognor Regis Town last night, as they fell to a fourth defeat from five to plunge them deeper into relegation trouble.

The Boro still have as many as four games in hand over their Isthmian Premier League rivals, but are four points from safety in the division, sitting 23rd, and looking unlikely to spark a long-term revival in the near future.

On the back of Saturday's 1-0 win at home to Merstham, Steve Baker's side did perform well against the league leaders, but were still left with nothing to show for their efforts in West Sussex.

A bright first half saw Josh Webb and Marc Charles-Smith go close, but 27 minutes in they fell behind when Harvey Whyte knocked in the rebound after Darren Wild's initial shot was saved.

After the break, Harrow were handed a route back into the game when Francis Babalola was bundled over in the box, but Marc-Smith's penalty was weak and saved by Dan Lincoln.

Josh Webb's late corner saw Michael Peacock come close, but Lincoln was again equal to his effort, and the visitors ended narrowly beaten.
