Watford Under-23s continued their promising start to the season after a 2-0 victory at home to Huddersfield Town this afternoon.
The Hornets opened the scoring after just seven minutes when they were awarded a penalty for a foul on Michael Folivi. Striker Alex Jakubiak buried the spot-kick to fire the hosts in front.
Watford extended their lead after 20 minutes when they scored directly from Dennon Lewis' corner.
Harry Kewell's side also won their opening game in the Under-23 Professional Development League after a 1-0 victory at Birmingham City last weekend.
Their next match is at home to Millwall next Monday.
