Wealdstone have returned to raid Potters Bar Town – the side from which Tom Pett was captured – to sign up striker Josh Hutchinson.

The former Cheshunt and Billericay Town striker was the Scholars’ top scorer last term in the Southern League Division One Central, registering 32 times.

He becomes the second Potters Bar player to make the switch to Grosvenor Vale in recent times after winger Pett, who spent two seasons with the Stones before joining League Two outfit Stevenage last summer.

With 28 goals to his name in the league, Hutchinson finished as the top scorer in Division One Central, netting once more than Marlow’s Lee Barney.

Meanwhile, former Sutton United winger Dale Binns has joined from the National League South side.

Binns, 33, boast a wealth of experience in non-league football and made his breakthrough with Hendon before spells with Cambridge City, Lewes, Maidenhead United, Hayes & Yeading, Farnborough Town, Woking and Eastleigh.

Wealdstone's first summer additions were Josh Urquhart and Bradley Hudson-Odoi, before Ryan Hope and Oliver Duffy agreed moves last week.
