West Harrow had to settle for a winning draw from their match with unbeaten Osterley in Middlesex Championship Division One on Saturday.
Batting first, West Harrow scored an impressive 327 for six with Zawar Hussain hitting 137 and Faisal Naved contributing 83.
But the job was only half done and the side were unable to clean up their opponents as Osterley finished on 201 for eight.
The result leaves Harrow second in the table after picking up four points.
In Division Two, West Harrow Seconds eased to a 69-run win over Kensington and Chelsea.
The victory came, in the main, thanks to a match winning all-round performance by Tejpal Gohil.
He was the highest scorer with 57 at the top of the order and he ripped through the Kensington and Chelsea batting line-up with a fine spell of five for 30.
The other notable performance came from Humayun Wassim, whose innings of 53 proved key as West Harrow finished on 185 all out in 52.4 overs.
Skipper Janak Jhala supported Tejpal in bowling by taking three wickets as Kensington and Chelsea were dismissed for 116.
