Harrow Eagles won promotion to Division Two
Harrow Hockey Club Eagles won promotion to Division Two after the second round of matches.
The team faced Wycombe, Eastcote and Buckingham after a successful first round in the competition. In the opener Harrow drew 1-1 with Wycombe after Anika Patel gave them the lead.
It was the same scoreline against Eastcote as the Eagles fought back to level the match through Priyal Dhanjal. In the final game, the Eagles edged to a 1-0 win over Buckingham to ensure they finished top and clinched promotion.
The decisive goal came when Dhanya Rasakulasuriar slotted home for the victors.
The Harrow Hawks had a disappointing weekend just missing out on top spot in Division One to Buckingham.
