Harrow Hockey Club will be taking part in the England Hockey Club weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

The club runs a successful junior section for children aged between five and 16 and has three senior teams competing in county leagues.

Last year the Harrow Under-12 girls team reached the England Hockey national finals for the first time in the club’s history.

Glenn Webster, Under-12 coach and director of coaching & club development, said: “We are very proud of the success our juniors have achieved in such a short space of time representing Harrow and Middlesex at national competition level.

“Harrow is a friendly, family club and both adults and juniors new and experienced will receive a warm welcome at our club.”

The weekend will be held at the Jewish Free School in Kenton between noon and 4pm on Saturday for all ages. It will also run from 10.30am to 11.30am on Sunday for five to 12 year olds and 11am to 12.30pm for 12 to 16 year olds.

Equipment is provided and anyone coming is asked to wear comfortable sports clothing.
