Harrow Lawn Tennis Club’s Ladies A and Mixed A teams have won the Kenton Floodlit Leagues for the second year running.

Team captains Wendy Driver (mixed) and Sue Forder (ladies) were at the Kenton club’s presentation evening to collect the trophies.

Forder said: “It’s wonderful to win the league two years running. We enjoy playing in these Winter Floodlit matches.”

In the Middlesex Floodlit League, the ladies first team, captained by Philippa Davies, have been promoted to the first division next season.

Teams are now being organised for the Middlesex summer leagues, with six men and five ladies teams entered this year.
