My husband and I have read several articles in your paper regarding Carpenders Park Cemetery. It appears that many people are up in arms about the management because they remove photos, crosses and so on from the graves. These individuals need to take into account that Carpenders Park Cemetery is, and always has been, a lawn cemetery, so they should not be complaining about this. If they want a place for crosses and photos, they should bury their loved ones in a cemetery that allows this.

We are really fed up as the place looks an absolute mess and it is time the management enforced the rules for the cemetery.

We have had family buried there for generations and the main reason they were buried there in the first place was because it was to resemble a park and be a peaceful and lovely place for relatives to visit their loved ones. We used to go there every Sunday, but do not go so often now as it is no longer the place it used to be.

It saddens us to see huge objects, crosses and so on at the graves as they make the place so unsightly.

I am sure that there are several other relatives who share our view on this.
