Since Councillor David Perry took over office from Councillor Susan Hall as leader of Harrow Borough Council, the area has become very run down.
At least Cllr Hall helped to turn the borough around and showed she was working for the public and the local area. Cllr Perry is bringing back the role of the chief executive and taking away the street worker.
There is so much crime happening these days that we need more council staff and police officers on Harrow’s streets, not some overpaid person sitting behind a desk. More and more shops are closing down due to the rising level of crime in this area and if something isn’t done soon, Harrow will become a ghost town.
