This year’s mild winter and wet spring has seen a dramatic increase in green parakeets flying around Harrow's skies.
On the other hand, we have the green-eyed Red Labour parrots, making a nuisance of themselves with their distinctive squawks of “Tory cuts”, who have saddled us with green tax bills and cutting services, while hosing money over new chief executives, and high profile “initiatives” and “consultations” that specifically exclude residents, not a pretty sight.
Green parakeets, not being a native bird, can be legally culled at any time.
Sadly, regardless of their incompetence, denuding of the public finances while blaming everybody else, or wanton neglect of the local environment, the only legal cull of the green-eyed Red Labour parrot is via the ballot box, leaving us with nearly four long years of repetitious squawking left-wing “Polly-tics”.
