The footpath from Wakehams Hill to Letchford Close across Pinner Park Farm is a lovely piece of countryside.
It crosses George V Avenue, past the farm buildings and over an interesting railway bridge.
I used to walk this route with my husband and three daughters quite often. It is also possible to catch a hopper back to North Harrow and Pinner to save tired legs.
In a era when walking is being encouraged for our own health benefits, it would be a great shame to deprive future generations of this attractive pastime.
