I attended the public meeting where the Pinner Park Farm options and feedback were on the agenda.
I was very disappointed at the lack of questions asked by the councillors attending, who either knew the answers or were not interested. If the latter is the case, they should not be councillors.
Would someone from the council please answer the following questions:
The consultation survey is fundamentally flawed, who compiled it?
Why are there only two options, both achieving the same, the inclusion of residential housing?
Why has £190,000 already been committed before a public consultation?
What is the breakdown of this cost?
What is the projected costs of implementing option one and two — which I have been informed had not yet been worked out.
What is the estimated footfall for visitors to option one and two?
What is the estimated annual running costs for option one and two?
What is the estimated annual profit from option one and two?
What is the projected environmental impact with regard to traffic/ pollution should option one or two go ahead?
I fail to see the purpose of any consultation if these points are not out in the open, or is it a done deal already and the council is just going through the motions?
