The results of the local elections, on a high turnout, have delivered a clear mandate to the Labour Party, led by Cllr David Perry.
They have an appealing mix of youth and experience in the group that should help them tackle the difficult tasks ahead.
Let us wish them well in their endeavours to do the best for the people of Harrow.
