Preparations are well underway to make this year’s Roxeth Show “better than ever”.

Fun fairs, entertainers, music and a carnival parade will all be on offer at the free summer festival on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the annual event which is sponsored by the Harrow Times.

Schoolchildren will entertain the crowds with their HA2CANDO Children's Carnival on Saturday. The young performers are busy perfecting their colourful costumes and floats ready for the big day.

Even dogs will be getting in on the action at the Fun Dog Show on Sunday.

There will be prizes for the best rescue dog, fastest Bonio eater, cutest puppy and one for the dog with the waggiest tail. Registration will be open on Saturday from the Fun Dog Show tent.

Harrow Community Radio will also be getting everyone in the party mood with music and commentary.

The 35th Roxeth Show is being organised by volunteers at the Harrow and Pinner Lions and will take place at Pitcairn's Path in Eastcote Road, South Harrow.

Park and Ride will be available from Bovis House in Northolt Road.
