A BROTHER and sister caught dumping sacks of rubbish at the back of a Harrow Weald chemist have been fined.
Lavinia and Ian Fernandez were caught on CCTV unloading the bags of garden waste, wood, and fencing materials in April last year and abandoning them.
But the dozy flytippers had left behind among the rubbish documents linking them to the crime via Mr Fernandez's cleaning company LMF Solutions.
They denied the offences, but a jury at Harrow Crown Court found them guilty on Wednesday, July 22.
Both Miss Fernandez, 38, of Radcliffe Road, Harrow, and her brother, a plumber, of Kenton Lane, Harrow, were given conditional discharges, and they were ordered to pay £100 costs each.
Brendon Hills, corporate director for community and environment at Harrow Council, said after sentencing: “These two people denied any wrong doing throughout the trial, but the evidence against them was so strong, the jury found them guilty and they now have a criminal record.”
