A longstanding and popular men’s barber shop owned by two brothers has kept hold of a prize.

Paul’s Hair for Men on Pinner Road in north Harrow, scooped two prizes at The London Hair & Beauty Awards in October 2017, winning one prize for the second year running.

The salon, owned by brothers Jack and George Vasiliou, 42 and 46 respectively, was nominated by customers and industry representatives in two categories: Best Barbershop in west London, and Best Men’s Stylist of the Year.

Jack won best men’s stylist, and the shop received the award for best barbershop for the second year in a row.

Jack, George and the barbershop team attended the annual award ceremony at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London in late October for drinks, dinner and live band entertainment before receiving their awards.

Jack, who has worked there for 24 years, said: “I was ecstatic, it’s like an honour for my hard work over the years and for the shop I am extremely proud.

“Thanks to my team of barbers, Costas, Sam, Angelo and Stefan.”

Paul’s Hair for Men was started in 1975 by the brother’s father, Paul Vasiliou who sadly passed away with Alzheimer’s ten years ago, aged 64.

Jack said of his father: “I am sure my dad would be very proud of us.”
