Grab your coat and a big bag of popcorn, and bring friend along to a new pop-up cinema this Christmas.
St Ann’s shopping centre in Station Road will show two screenings of the same Christmas film every Saturday and Sunday from December 3.
Pieter Strombeck, St Anns Centre Manager said: "It’s something a little different for us and I am delighted that it’s here for the busy festive period.
"We work hard to make sure that St Anns is as accessible as possible for everyone so it was crucial for us that the Cinema was the same.
"As part of the Pop-Up Cinema we wanted to have a special time allocated so that visitors to the centre with Autism or sensory sensitivity can come and enjoy the films in a relaxed environment.
"We will also have donation boxes in the Cinema throughout the event raising money for the Centre’s charity of the year – St Mark’s Hospital Foundation, who specialise in providing research for bowel disease."
An autism friendly screening with reduced capacity, and lower than usual volume will take place at every Sunday at 11am.
The centre will screen films every weekend until Sunday, January 15.
