International music legend Elton John is performing a concert in London next year.

The iconic pop star will be on stage on June 3 in his first show at Twickenham since 1970.

It forms part of his worldwide Wonderful Crazy Night Tour and promises to be a night to remember.

His epic live show has already wowed audiences across the UK including 500,000 at Hyde Park in London for BBC Radio 2.

Last night he performed at the annual Apple Music Festival.

The showman will sing numbers from his latest album ‘Wonderful Crazy Night’ as well as much-loved hits from his stellar career.

The one-off gig will have space for 18,000 fans and tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 23.

Elton is one of the most highly acclaimed and successful solo artists of all time.

The multiple Grammy, Brit, Oscar and Tony award winner has more than 4,000 performances in 80 countries to his credit since launching his first tour in 1970.

The 69-year-old has performed at several of the world’s most recognisable venues – including a pair of residencies at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

With 38 gold and 27 platinum albums and sales of more than 250 million records worldwide, he continues to be one of the country’s biggest pop culture exports.

The former chairman of Watford Football Club is no stranger to sports venues and has played more than 40 stadium and arena shows across the north west including Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton and Leigh.
