A group of rotarians selflessly gave up their bank holiday Monday to assemble a van load of aid to send to a war-torn country.
The men and women of the Rotary Club of Northwick Park collected the essential items to ship over Ukraine in October.
Contained in the numerous boxes and bags were a number of items in particular demand, such as children’s clothing, toiletries, nappies, shoes and winter coats.
The rotary club has been working with charity UK-AID since 2010, and bought a van for the charity in 2012.
With winter fast approaching in the Eastern European country, the rotarians are hoping for a good response from the public. Please contact webmaster@rcnp.org.uk to arrange a delivery.
