A Pinner preschool has celebrated its 50th birthday with pupils past and present.
The Pinner Parish Preschool invited families to join in its special celebration.
The small school on Church Lane was founded in 1966 and for 50 years has been managed by a committee of parent volunteers.
Some families have been involved with the preschool for generations. One visitor to attend the celebrations – Geraint Jones – was one of the first children to attend the preschool in the late 1960s.
Philip Harrison, a parent of a Pinner preschool child, said: “Our two children have attended Pinner Parish Preschool, and have loved the nurturing environment and the activities on offer.”
Manager Salimah Panjwani said: “If any local families are looking for a preschool place for September or beyond please give us a ring and we would be happy to show you around.”
Deputy mayor Margaret Davine joined families, staff and volunteers to cut the celebratory cake.
Visitors also enjoyed face painting, craft making, glitter tattoos and a teddy tombola. Photographs were also on display so people could take a trip down memory lane.
