Patients at a north London hospital have a new and improved view thanks to a group of hardy volunteers.
Hunter Healthcare staff braved stormy weather to spruce up a garden at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.
The 18 volunteers, including managing directors, carried out painting, tidying and weeding to make the surroundings more attractive for those stuck inside.
Phoebe Webb, head of operations and performance at Hunter Healthcare, said: “We had a fantastic day as well as helping the hospital – it was really good for us to do some team bonding.
“The weather was horrendous but we battled on through the wind and rain. It’s definitely something we would like to do again.”
