A traders association raised £400 for St Luke's Hospice in Kenton.

The South Harrow Traders Association held a charity cricket evening to raise the funds, as well as donating collections from its Diwali and Christmas functions.

The group has been running since 2011 as a forum for traders in the area to voice their opinions and concerns.

SHTA has grown to a membership of more than 40 traders and works closely with Harrow Council and the Metropolitan Police to improve the area for traders and residents alike.

This is the third consecutive year the association has raised money for St Luke’s Hospice for three consecutive years in recognition work being carried out by the hospice.
