A man who robbed multiple people at knife point in a series of random attacks has been jailed after handing himself into police.

Jamie Subryan, 35 was convicted of three counts of robbery and three counts of wielding a knife at Harrow Crown Court on Wednesday, November 11.

He targeted multiple victims at different locations across Harrow in September and will now serve five years and four months in jail.

In one incident, a 23-year-old was sat at a bus stop in Brockhurst Corner, Uxbridge Road, on September 5, when Subryan got out of the car and threatened him with a knife.

The victim memorised the registration and police traced the vehicle back Subryan.

In another, a 21-year-old man was sitting in his car in Cecil Road, Harrow, when Subryan walked past and asked the man if he "had a problem" with him.

Subryan then attenmpted to grab the keys from the ignition, pulled out a knife and threatened the man with it before stealing the man's wallet.

On Sunday, September 6 at 4.45pm, a 24-year-old man was walking to a bus stop in Wellington Road, Harrow, when he saw Subryan walking on the other side of the road. Subryan crossed the road and approached him, threatened him with a knife and demanded money.

He took his phone, oyster card and a packet of cigarettes and told the man to look away while he walked off.

Subrayan later handed himself into a police station and pleaded guilty in court.

Detective Constable Matthew Beavis said: "These robberies were a terrifying ordeal for the victims. I hope they find some reassurance in knowing that this man is now in prison serving a lengthy term in jail. I hope this investigation demonstrates that the police will do everything we can to catch those who commit violent crimes and put them before the courts."
