Care home tenants stepped into the spotlight when they held their very own film shoot.
Held as part of Shine! ā a two-year national arts programme, Haven Residential Care Home, in Wellington Road, Pinner, hosted its very own Joshua Logan film shoot for tenants and supporters.
Channelling their inner Emile De Becque and Ensign Nellie Forbush, the film stars dusted off their grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts as they recreated the 1958 classic South Pacific with family and friends.
Together the staff and tenants recreated several memorable scenes and musical hits, including Some Enchanted Evening, Iām Gonna Wash that Man Right Out of my Hair and There is Nothing Like a Dame.
