A poster calling on black people and ethnic minorities to vote in the upcoming General Election is to appear in Harrow.
The campaign by Operation Black Vote has posters featuring celebrities, including singer Tinie Tempah and actor David Harewood, change their skin colour to white.
It aims to demonstrate that if black and ethnic minorities do not vote, they will not be represented in Parliament.
A poster will appear in the borough featuring footballer Sol Campbell, with the strapline “If you don’t vote, you’re taking the colour out of Harrow.”
He said: “I agreed to do the Operation Black Vote pictures because I wanted to highlight the problem with some sections of Britain who are not registering to vote for their future.”
