A hospice charity received a £15,000 boost from a gala event.
Members of the Moor Park Lions Club presented Michael Sobell Hospice in Northwood with a cheque for £15,000 this month after hosting the Gala Mehfil event, which featured a dinner, music, and singing.
In previous years the club has only supported one charity per year, but this year the Lions Club President Raj Vora decided to support two charities - one of which was Michael Sobell Hospice.
