A giant luxury Easter egg is to go up for auction to raise money for a mental health charity.
Chocolate lovers can submit their bids to win an eggstravagant hand-made 40 centimetre high Belgian chocolate Easter egg, in a bid to raise money for Mind in Harrow.
Produced by the Chocolate Room in Station Road, Harrow, the egg auction is the second in two years organised by Harrow West candidate Hannah David – with last year’s auction raising a substantial amount of money for Cancer Research UK.
Mark Gillham, Chief Executive of Mind in Harrow, said “We are very pleased that Mrs David is raising the profile of mental health in the local community through her support.
“One in four Harrow residents will experience mental health problems at some time and yet many people can still find it a struggle to seek help. The money raised will go towards our vital local services.”
To submit a bid for the Easter egg, email contact@hannahdavid.co.uk by midnight on Saturday March 28.
The egg will be delivered to the highest bidder in time for Easter.
