Patients can now catch their favourite films and television programmes after a hospice was awarded a £3,000 grant.
Michael Sobell Hospice in Northwood now has 20 new televisions with DVD players at patients' bedsides thanks to a grant of £3,650 from the Heathrow Communities Together Trust as part of the trust’s Bringing Communities Together Project.
Hospice volunteers Mary Niven and Alan Jenkins made sure the donation was possible by researching costs and assembling television trolleys.
