Jewellery was stolen when an elderly couple’s home was broken into.
Police were called to reports of a burglary at an address in Clamp Hill, Stanmore at around 5pm on Tuesday, January 20.
The householders, an elderly couple, had left the house secure at 2.30pm, but returned to find the kitchen window had been forced open.
Several items of jewellery, which have a significant sentimental value to the victims, were taken in the burglary. So far, no arrests have been made.
