Police will launch an appeal to make sure children in care receive a special Christmas gift.
Harrow Police are backing the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe’s Christmas appeal.
People are being urged to give a gift by collecting a tag from the special Christmas tree outside Harrow Police Station, or by e-mailing harrowchristmastree@met.police.uk
The age and gender of the child will be provided and the maximum donation is £20.
Harrow Police's Christmas Tree appeal will be officially launched on Friday, November 28, when Chief Superintendent Simon Ovens will switch on the Christmas lights.
