Rabbits rescued from appalling conditions are in need of new homes.

Inspectors from the RSPCA Middlesex North West, which covers Harrow, rescued the seven rabbits which were squashed inside cat carry cases and were being fed on onions.

Since being rescued last week, one rabbit died due to an injury to her foot.

Animal Welfare Officer Tracy Deamer said: “The suffering she must have gone through is unimaginable.”

The remaining bunnies are just six of more than 40 rabbits in need of new homes according to RSPCA Middlesex North West.
