A consultation on plans to introduce a controlled parking zone in more than 15 streets will close tomorrow.

Harrow Borough Council is calling for people’s views over the plans for the CPZ in North Harrow, which would be in operation Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm.

The proposals also include the painting of double yellow lines at junctions, along narrow sections of road and at bends in accordance with guidance from the Highway Code.

The recommendations come from a public consultation held in September last year to review the parking situation in the area.

The council's traffic and road safety advisory panel made the recommendations to the cabinet member for environment.

People have until 11:59pm tomorrow to have their say on the proposals which can be viewed and commented on by clicking here.

Another Harrow Council 'consultation'. Do you want controlled parking from 8 a.m. to 6.30 pm or from 8 a.m. to 6.31 p.m.?
