A school has been ranked top of a national league table and in the top five percent internationally for exam results.

North London Collegiate School, in Edgware, is celebrating the results off pupils taking International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas.

The school was ranked number one in The Times league tables for the qualification and after its latest results this month it fell within the top four per cent of IB students internationally.

Deputy Headteacher at the school, Matthew Shoults said: We are delighted at the success our students have achieved again this year.

“Supported by their teachers, they have worked with enthusiasm and energy to gain these results, and they thoroughly deserve their places at Oxford, Cambridge and other prestigious universities.

“Our students are consistently amongst the very highest achieving IB Diploma students, not just in this country but in the world.

“It is clear how much students benefit from linear teaching, and from the different elements of the Diploma programme.

“We congratulate our students warmly on their results and wish them further success in the next stage of their education.”
