Musicians are gearing up for the final weekend of hospice charity’s summer concerts.

St Luke’s Hospice Summer Proms Series has so far raised a total of £28,000 over the past two weeks.

Saturday July 12 will be the final night of the proms at Harrow School, in Harrow-on-the-Hill and will include the London Gala Orchestra performing popular classics including Viennese waltzes by Johann Strauss.

The hospice hopes to raise even more money than last year’s proms series, which raised a total of £32,000 for the charity.

On Saturday July 5, the Grim's Dyke Opera Company performed and evening of Gilbert and Sullivan with pieces from the operetta Trial by Jury.

Tickets are still available for the final night of the proms. Anyone interested should click here.
