Family days out at outdoor gyms will be held tomorrow and next week.
Free fitness advice and guidance from trained professionals will be available at Harrow Borough Council-run gyms at Byron Park and Harrow Recreation Ground between 10am and 11.30am on Tuesday, and on Friday July 11, between 12pm and 1.30pm.
Adults can learn how to use the gym equipment while their children take part in activities such as parachute games and face painting.
The gyms are funded by Harrow Council and last year more than 100 people benefited from the days.
Cllr Anne Whitehead, who is responsible for public health, equality and wellbeing, said: “What could be better this summer than a free and fun way to get fit in Harrow’s beautiful parks? Our six outdoor gyms across the borough help people get healthier – and bring communities together as they become more active.”
